MAQEL, the exclusive distributor of JLG® Industries for Spain and Portugal, is presenting a wide range of JLG® equipment at the 18th International Exhibition of Machinery for Public Works, Construction and Mining (SMOPYC).
At the stand, located at number 15-26 of streets E and F in Hall 7, there is a large exhibition area, where there are 9 pieces of equipment designed for different applications, ensuring that all projects have a place on the stand as well as they do at MAQEL.
The solutions for industry are represented by the DSP-M order picker and the Toucan 12E Plus vertical mast, with a working height of 6.55 and 12.65 metres respectively. Both are electric, so they do not emit fumes, and are fitted with anti-fingerprint wheels, making them perfect for indoor work in warehouses and factories. The Toucan 12E Plus also has a horizontal reach of 6.05 metres, allowing it to negotiate obstacles.
The Nano SP, the Ecolift and the Power Tower, three mast lifts, are available for low height access. With a working height of 4.5 metres and a capacity of 200 kg, the Nano SP is self-propelled and ultra-compact and light enough to work in areas that are difficult to access, even allowing it to enter lifts and pass through narrow corridors, making it ideal for installation maintenance and finishing work. The Ecolift is a non-powered, fully manual lift, which means that the lifting cycles are unlimited and can be used 24 hours a day with minimal operating costs. Like the Nano SP, it is also ultra-compact for access to confined spaces and reaches a working height of 4.20 metres. As for the Power Tower travelling mast lift, it has a working height of 5.1 metres and, like the Nano SP and Ecolift, is very compact, easily passing through doorways, lifts and corridors.
Representing the all-terrain scissor lifts is the ERT3369, a model that offers the possibility of driving at maximum height (12 metres working height) and has a capacity of 453kg. In addition, thanks to its maintenance-free 2WD AC drive system, costs are reduced, and it features the latest technology in compliance with regulations.
Also on display are two articulated booms, the electric-powered EC520AJ and the diesel-powered 600AJ HC3. The EC520AJ articulated boom is a machine that consumes no fuel and requires no maintenance for the lithium batteries, which increases productivity and operating cost savings exponentially. It is a zero-emission, low-noise boom with anti-fingerprint wheels and is ideal for indoor work. It is ideal for indoor work, with a working height of 18 metres and a horizontal reach of 10.65 metres, enabling it to negotiate obstacles and access hard-to-reach places. The 600AJ HC3 features a high lifting capacity, from 300 kg unlimited to 454 kg limited, offering three work zones that can accommodate three occupants plus tools. This reduces the number of lift cycles to get tools and materials to workplaces at height (doing more with one platform saves time and safely increases productivity). This extra-capacity has been developed to meet the needs of the heaviest lifting tasks, especially in construction work, industrial projects and large building maintenance with a working height of 22.51 metres and a horizontal reach of 12.37 metres.
Compact tracked platforms also have a presence on the stand with the X33J Plus, an innovative machine with an operating radius extending to an articulation height of 17.20 metres and a horizontal reach of 16 metres. In addition, its dimensions allow it to pass through standard double doors and it has great manoeuvrability in tight spaces and a load capacity of 230kg, allowing tools to be carried in the basket to make jobs more productive and safer.
Also on the stand is a demonstration area featuring the DaVinci AE1932 electric scissor lift that can be operated via the JLG® Mobile Control app, a mobile tool that allows you to operate the scissor from up to 40 metres away with Bluetooth-enabled technology, allowing better visibility of the work area while maintaining a safe distance. It also allows you to steer and position the machine in hard to reach areas away from the scissor and load the machine onto trucks with ease, from the ground and at a distance from the truck and machine to ensure your safety and productivity. The DaVinci is the only all-electric machine on the market, making it fluid-free and perfect for sensitive indoor applications. It is virtually maintenance free thanks to its new diagnostic and analysis tool that can be used on any smart device, has a working height of 7.62 metres and is compact enough to work in tight spaces.
Next to each equipment area there is a totem with detailed information about each machine and a QR code where you can find more information. In addition, the stand has a meeting area where the MAQEL sales team, who will be at the total disposal of the users, will offer more information and solve any doubts they may have while they enjoy a snack.
